Monthly payments to a compensation of 33 days per year with a maximum of 24 monthly payments. The fifth transitory provision of the aforementioned norm establishes that the compensation for unfair dismissal of contracts formalized prior to the entry into force of this royal decree-law will be calculated at the rate of 45 days of salary per year of service for the time.
Service of services prior to said date of entry into force and at a rate of 33 days of salary per year of service for the time of provision of subsequent services. The resulting compensation moible number data amount may not exceed 720 days of salary, unless the calculation of the compensation for the period prior to the entry into force of this royal decree-law (February 12, 2012) results in a higher number of days.

Which case this will be applied as the maximum compensation amount, without said amount being able to exceed 42 monthly payments, in any case. If the contract was formalized after February 12, 2012, there is no doubt that the compensation is 33 days per year with a maximum of 24 monthly payments.
