Bloomberg found that OpenAI should have annual sales of $1 billion.  deploying their ChatGPT technology. Amazon acquired the startup Fig and naturally integrated it into AWS. Fig is an autocomplete tool, i.e. it autocompletes written commands providing possible variations. Thanks to GitHub Copilot, this is a very hot area right now. IBM has unveiled a new analog processor for AI operations.

It should achieve low power consumption, be built on a 14nm Chinese American Phone Number List process, and have 35 million simulated PCMs. 6.7 TOPS per watt. Thanks to in-memory computing, this type of analog processor is an interesting prospect. Mavenir has dropped out of the list of the most important suppliers of core components for mobile networks, at least according to Dell'Oro statistics. The top five are Ericsson, Cisco, Huawei, ZTE and Nokia.

Mavenir recently won a tender for the core supply of Deutsche Telekom (replacing Huawei) and secured another tranche of investment.
